The feathers have been hand washed and acid dyed, which is actually absorbed by the proteins in the feathers, not just a top coat such as Rit dye. This acid dye gives brighter, more permanent colors.
Photogragh shows the beautiful bright colored feathers and what they are going to look like, pictures are of the similar feathers you will receive, same colors, same sizes. Feathers can be washed, ironed and curled. Feathers have been in smoke free environment.
