ABOUT THE ARTIST: Jermaine Rogers is one of the most prolific and relevant artists working today. Since the early 1990’s, Rogers has created hundreds of prints for many musical acts such as Ween, Neil Young, The Mars Volta, Radiohead, Foo Fighters and David Bowie. The artist has also produced work for corporate clients including Vans, Microsoft, Scion, Verizon, Sony, Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly and more. Jermaine’s distinctive use of line work is instantly recognizable, his use of color is daring and his imagery enigmatic, often humorous… always serious. Old pulp writings, inner-earth theory literature, Ancient and Biblical texts, 1970’s children’s media, old-time radio shows, wax museum figures and many other esoteric subjects serve as Rogers’ source of inspiration. He produces silkscreens and other types of prints, paintings and limited edition sculpture. He lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
