DESCRIPTION:THE PAINTING WHICH SHOWS SOM SIGNS OF AGE IS A PORTRAIT OF A BEAUTIFUL ELDERLY LADY WITH VERY INTENSE EYES. EXPERTS BELIEVE THAT IT HAS BEEN MADE BY WENZEL TORNOE (1844-1907) BUT AS IT HAS NOT BEEN SIGNED SELLER IS NOT ABLE TO VERIFY THE AUTHENTICITY.
CONDITION: THE PAINTING SHOWS CRACKING AND SOME PEEL OF THE PAINT AND DOES NEED SOME RESTORING.
THE FRAME: IS IN A GOOD CONDITION BUT WITH SOME IRREGULARITIES (PLEASE SEE THE PHOTO). IT MEASURES ABT 1.8" (4.5 CM).THE FRAME AND STRETCHER IS NEWER THAN THE PAINTING.
