How to Make Cat Halloween Costumes:

• Start with the ears by drawing triangle shapes about 3 inches tall and 2 inches wide on the cardboard. Cut out the ears. Cover with felt using hot glue. If you use dark brown or black as your turtleneck and legging color then you can use a basic tortoiseshell or black headband. If not, then cover the headband with the same color felt as your cat ears. Glue the ears to the headband

• The cat tail can be made by using a long piece of fabric rolled into a long tube and filled with stuffing and the hot glued at the seam and one end then attaching the tail with Velcro. You can use a safety pin but you may find that Velocro is safer and you can find some that is non sewing. If you don't have any material then take a knee sock or a man's thigh sock and fill that with stuffing

• For the body, use a leotard with leggings or a turtleneck with matching sweat pants or skinny pants. You can also use sweat pants and matching sweat shirts and using fabric paints described in the tips below have a unique, cute costume. Add socks with little black cats and/or cute sneakers
