How Does a Butane Lighter Work?

Operation

• On the inside of a lighter there is a wick. This gets soaked in butane and is ultimately what sustains the flame when you use your fingers to light it. • Locate the filter valve. Normally it's on the bottom of your lighter. It will look like a small port with a + and - sign on each side

• Remove refill quickly. It only takes about 3 seconds to fill most size lighters
