This tutorial will explain how to make your own custom bookmark from craft wire and beads.

• Sketch out your custom bookmark. Assemble your jewelry making supplies. You will need craft wire in the color of your choice and one or more beads, depending on your design.
• Cut a six or seven inch length of craft wire.
• Make a wire wrapped loop at the end of the craft wire.
• Cut another three inch length of craft wire. Bend the end and slide on the bead of your choice.
• Feed the strung wire through the wire wrapped loop of your first cut wire and wire wrap to secure the loop.
• Use your nylon pliers to straighten and harden the wire of your custom bookmark.
• Check the wire ends to be sure there are no sharp edges on your custom bookmark. File any sharp edges away with a needle file, cup burr or wire rounder.
