How to Install a Hand Held Shower Head:

• Use the adjustable wrench or pliers to take off the old shower head. You can use duct tape or a heavy cloth underneath the pliers if you are concerned about scratching the shower head. If you have any trouble removing it, use another wrench or pliers to assist. Put one on the shower head and the other on the pipe leading to it. Gently turn the tool connected to the shower head until you can remove it. Be careful not to exert a lot of pressure on the water pipes at any time
• Ready the pipe for the new hand-held shower head. Use a wet rag to clean off the shower stem sticking out of the wall. Remove all of the old Teflon tape, and thoroughly clean all of the threads on it. Put new Teflon tape around the shower stem threads. Do this clockwise to prevent it from coming off as you put the new one on
• Place the hand-held shower holder on the stem and tighten it by hand. Hook the shower hose to the holder and hand-tighten it. Connect the hand-held shower head to the hose, if it is not already attached. Check all connections again and test it by turning on the water. If there are any water leaks, tighten the connection causing it
