How to Connect a Hose to a Faucet:

If you have the need to attach your garden hose to your kitchen faucet, you may find it difficult to do so. This is because the garden hose and the faucet don't have the right hookups to connect to each other. However, if you want to connect the hose to the faucet, it can be done. You will just need to purchase a special connector.

Instructions:

• Unscrew the end of the faucet with the wrench. This piece usually looks like a small cap and is used to give the faucet a finished look
• Screw the faucet adaptor onto the end of the kitchen faucet in place of the end cap. Use the wrench to ensure it is on the faucet securely
• Place the end of the hose over the faucet adaptor. Screw the hose into the faucet tightly. Pull the other end of the hose outside of your house
• Turn the water on very slowly to test the connection for leaks. If the adaptor leaks, shut the water off and retighten the entire assembly--the adaptor and the hose-to-kitchen-faucet connection
