How to Make Finger Puppets:

• Print your finger puppet out from a template or create your own finger puppet drawing. Websites like Enhanced Learning offer simple, creative finger puppet templates already colored and ready to print. However, you can easily make your own finger puppets by drawing a simple animal or human shape
• Remember to leave two holes for your fingers. If you draw your own finger puppet, draw two finger-sized holes near the bottom of the image. The two holes provide a place to insert your fingers and they become the legs and feet of your puppet
• Cut out your finger puppet and the finger holes. Be sure to stay with the lines of your drawing or cut just outside your lines so that the puppet doesn't shrink. An easy way to cut out finger holes is to fold across the middle of the circle and use your scissors to cut out the middle
