How do I Change a CR1220 Battery in Canon Powershot A410?

The CR1220 battery acts as the backup battery and controls the date and time associated with your pictures at the time of capture. If the Date/Time menu appears when the Canon Powershot A410 is on, the battery is low and will need to be replaced. Replace the battery as soon as possible, as the current date and time settings will no longer properly record when a picture is taken

Instructions:

• Turn the Canon Powershot A410 to the "Off" position
• Remove the battery holder on the bottom left side of the camera by pressing the ribbed tab and pulling it to the left with your finger
• Take the battery out of the battery holder by pulling up on the side of the battery closest to the camera
• Place a new CR1220 battery into the battery holder with the negative side, the side with a dash, facing up
• Turn the camera on and reset the date and time by following the directions in the menu on the LCD monitor
