How to Remove Bubbles from a Screen Protectorï¼?br />


You have just finished placing a screen protector on one of your hand-held devices and you notice there are bubbles protruding from the screen. These bubbles are not only aggravating, but they also affect your view of the screen. There is no need to fret, you can easily get rid of the bubbles with a driver's license or credit card, and a little patience

• Remove the screen protector from your device and set it aside for replacing. You could also replace the screen protector with a new one if you choose
• Clean your screen with a microfiber cloth. This will help remove any dust or debris from your screen that may cause problems with the screen protector going on smoothly
• Lay strips of scotch tape over your screen. Cover the entire screen, leaving enough on the ends of the tape to pull up and away. Pull the tape off the screen. This will help clean and remove any dust or dirt from your screen
• Reapply your screen protector using the directions that were provided in the packaging. Use your driver's license or a credit card to smooth out and push any bubbles that appear to the closest edge of the screen. By pushing the bubbles out to the edge of the screen, the bubbles will be released, and you will have a smooth surface on the screen of your hand-held device

How to Get Bubbles Out of a Screen Protector:



Smartphones, portable electronic games and MP3 players include color screens to display photos, art and graphics. Installing a screen protector reduces scratches, dirt and dust from accumulating on the screen. However, since screen protectors are clear film, installation requires patience and practice to avoid trapping dust and particles between the screen and film. Trapped air bubbles sometimes result from trapped dust under the protector or from a hasty application. Users can apply a science lab technique to remove pesky air bubbles before you remove and reapply the screen protector

• Place the device on a flat surface and fill the eye dropper with rubbing alcohol
• Place the lint-free cloth on one edge of the screen protector
• Distill three drops of alcohol along the opposite edge of the screen protector (i.e., the opposite edge from the cloth)
• Check that the liquid migrates from one edge toward the cloth (the movement of the liquid will also push air bubbles and particles towards the edge)
• Repeat steps 3 and 4 as needed, until the liquid reaches the cloth. Be careful not to soak the screen
• Gently place your finger on the center of the screen and slowly wiggle the screen to remove bubbles and realign
• Wipe the liquid from the edges of the screen protector and allow the alcohol to evaporate
