How to Choose an RC Motor:

• Identify the scale of your RC vehicle. Different scales of RC vehicles require different-sized motors and must be matched properly
• Determine how many "turns" you would like for your motor. RC motors generally run from about 6 to 27 turns. A motor with a higher turn number has lower acceleration and higher torque. A motor with a lower turn number has higher acceleration and lower torque
• Decide whether you would like a "brushless" or a "brushed" motor. A brushless motor has secured interior parts and needs almost no maintenance. A brushed motor has internal brushes which transfer the electricity to the motor and needs regular maintenance. The benefit of a brushed motor is that its modular parts can be customized to increase or decrease the amount of torque. This is helpful when racing on different types of tracks and surfaces
