This is an unfinished Fender Pre CBS Reverse Tuner Set taken off of a 1964 Fender Jazz Bass. They can be used on any early 1960 thru 1965 Fender J or P bass. You have to provide the tuner gear and post. The set also includes all the mounting screws and set of four tuner bezels (not shown in the photos). I bought the set on Ebay around four months ago for my relic bass project, but right after the purchase I found a Pre CBS J neck with the original tuners already mounted. Now I can't use them. They look very cool, perfect for restoring your vintage bass or building your own relic J or P bass. Each has some minor marks and a little flaking of the plating. However, this does not affect operation. As mentioned they are perfect for restoring an old Fender bass. The new Reissue Fender reverse tuners have more turnings in the worm gear portion. They are not the same as the original 1964 tuners I am selling here. No returns on this set. These old Fender tuners are priced very high. Here is your chance to buy the real deal.
