This innovative set of 336 standard-size cards was released by Donruss
very late in the 1988 season to be sold in large national retail chains
as a complete packaged set. The set was packaged in a specially designed
box. Cards are very similar in design to the 1988 regular Donruss issue
except that these cards have orange and black borders instead of blue
and black borders. The set is also sometimes referred to as the
Halloween set because of the orange box and design of the cards. Six (2
1/2" by 3 1/2") 15-piece puzzles of Stan Musial are also included with
every complete set.
