SonicWall TZ-170W 25 Node Wireless Internet Firewall Appliance (01-SSC-5712)

This is a great firewall appliance. I have used these many times in the past to secure everything from small networks to high traffic web servers; and they have always performed great. There are however two issues with this particular unit. It has already been registered to a company and I was not able to get Sonicwall to provide me with any type of support so some of the advanced features can't be used. Then again maybe you can call SonicWall and see if you can get them to allow you to register the device. If so, that makes this already killer deal even better. I remember the last time I purchased one of these it cost over 700.00. Also, the little fan inside of the unit is very loud and sounds like it may need to be replaced at some point.

Even with the listed issues this firewall is still a fantastic security appliance with some very advanced features. The types of features that are not available are things like virus scanning advanced intrusion detection.

This would also be a great opportunity for someone to become familiar with these firewalls for a fraction of the cost. Having experience with a high level security appliance such as this always looks great on a resume.
