Auction is for a Vintage POLICE BASEBALL CAP / HAT from the DODGE CITY, KANSAS Police Department. This vintage piece of Policing Memorabilia, although old, appears to be unused. The Embroidered / Sewn-on Patch, on the front of the Cap, is slightly different than the Badges that are in use today. This Patch has no comma ( , ) between the words Dodge City (and) Kansas. As well, the Train, Guns and Steer Head, are encircled with an Embroidered Yellow Border. Both of these things are not evident on today's Patches.

This Cap is in good vintage condition. The top is nylon mesh, with a plastic, one-size-fits-all, snap close, on the back. NOTE - The foam padding, on the interior of the front of the cap, which helps it to keep its form, is deteriorating, due to age. However, this does not detract from either the functionality, or collectibility, of the Cap. A fabulous remember-all for Collectors, DCPD Veterans and Officers Worldwide!
