Auction is for a Waterproof / Airtight Container from the YORK REGIONAL POLICE FORCE - MARINE UNIT. This container is a promotional item, to raise awareness for the Waterwatch Program and Crime Stoppers of York Region (see photos, showing front and reverse of the item). This container is 4 & 1/2" tall, 4 & 9/16" in circumference. It has an opening, at the top of the lid, to enable a lanyard to pass through it. The purpose of such a container is to be able to Boat, or participate in Water Sports, while still being able to carry essential items such as keys and money. PLEASE NOTE - we have not tested its waterproof voracity. While it may prevent the container from filling up with water, it may not prevent all dampness from occurring. However, it is also handy for boaters, canoers and anyone active with Marine activities, or for anyone who wants carry-all convenience. Run a lanyard through it and it hangs from your neck (or any, other convenient location!).This is an item that would also be great on display, added to a Policing collection.
