Nostalgic set of 3 Ladies' Home Journal & Saturday Evening Post decorative tins.
All have been washed & are in immaculate condition.
Included are:
The Ladies Home Journal Birthday Number, Circa November 1, 1910, 10 Cents, & "Never Underestimate The Power Of A Woman", Circa November, 1913, Fifteen Cents.
An elegant young woman from 1910 poses on the lid & 2 sides while the other sides feature "Never Underestimate The Power Of A Woman" on one side & Ladies' Home Journal on the other side.
Hunter green background with gold accents.
There is a bit of corrosion on the lower rim edge & bottom & some chipping of finish on the sides of the lid & a little corrosion on the edge of the lid rim. Small amount of discoloration on the inside bottom.
No dents or gouges & immaculately clean.
Sweet little basket "The Spring Fashion Number The Ladies Home Journal", March 1910, Fifteen Cents, features a sweet & elegant young lady on the lid holding a lavender posey with a garland of blue, turquoise, & lavender flowers all around the edge.
A floral tree is on the front & back with "The Ladies Home Journal" on the short sides.
This tin measures 6" tall x 4 7/8" wide x 8 3/4" long.
The tin has 2 floral garland handles.
Just a tiny bit of corrosion on the lower rim edge & the lid edge & a small bit of chipping on the corners of the lid, nothing very noticeable.
No gouges or dents & would make a darling little trinket box or tiny picnic basket, possibly even a little purse. Would be very sweet for a little girl to carry to a picnic in a vintage school play.
Round, flat Saturday Evening Post from a 1952 cover measures 1 3/4" tall x 6" across.
No dents, gouges, or scrapes, just a slight bit of corrosion along the rim edge of the lid.
I am listing several other decorative tins & will be happy to combine shipping with any of them or with any of my other listings.
I am always happy to combine shipping with any of my other listings.
