Mariano Duncan Nalasco (born March 13, 1963 in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic) is a former second baseman and shortstop for several Major League Baseball teams during his 12 year career. He was the infield coach and 1st base coach for the Los Angeles Dodgers under Managers Grady Little and Joe Torre. In 2011, Mariano will be the hitting coach for the Chicago Cubs Double AA team, the Tennessee Smokies.
