Exotic Vintage Burmese Kalaga Tapestry

Tapestry measures 19” x 19”

Frame measures 26” x 26”

 

Hand-made and embroidered tapestry with extensive use of metal sequins, glass, stones, and colored and metallic threads.  The raised figures give a quilted quality to the design.  The background is crafted in beautiful swirled patterns of sequins.

 

Condition:  EXCELLENT

 

It is beautifully and professionally framed in a shadow box-style gold frame.  The glass does not touch the kalaga.  A rose-colored matting surrounds the tapestry.
