This aristocratic couple scene that you are about to bid on is an original 1950s oil on canvas by the very talented European artist C. Kramer (20th century). Borrowing artistic devices and aesthetic elements from both the Romanticism and Modernism movements, Kramer creates an intimate image of a couple in a lavishly decorated home. Deeply rooted in the artistic, literary, and intellectual arenas of 18th Century Europe, Romanticism was in part a reaction against the aristocratic social and political norms of the Age of Enlightenment. Reviving the expressiveness of mood and color, Kramer highlights the connection and chemistry between these two individuals. Seated in a shallow stage, the couple interacts in push and pull of feelings and emotions. This is a wonderful opportunity to own this lovely painting at a steal of a price!  This artwork is a great investment for novice and experienced buyers alike, so don't miss out!

The image is signed and dated by the artist in the lower right. It measures 20" x 24" and 26" x 30" in a beautiful custom made gallery frame, provided free of charge to our eBuyers.  Condition report: The painting is in great condition. The frame is in great condition as well, with minor wear and tear (because the frame is complimentary, we are not responsible for its condition, only that of the artwork).
