This extraordinarily fantastical Parisian cityscape with a flower arrangement you are about to bid on is an original 1960s collectible mixed media by the extremely talented and LISTED French artist, Charles Cobelle (born Carl Edelman, 1902-1994).  Cobelle, best known for his highly imaginative merging of reality and fantasy, was well established in his own day, gracing the covers of many of the country's leading magazines and exhibiting his work on the walls of galleries, public buildings, and fine hotels. This particular painting presents the viewer with a vibrant visual assimilation of one of Cobelle's favorite subjects, the Parisian skyline. Shape over shape, color over color, line over line - Cobelle fills this compositional masterpiece with undeniably expressive and vivaciously spirited forms. Crafted in creative frenzy of originality, his stylized shapes fuse together with neon pinks, yellow, and oranges to create a dynamically visual and truly awe-inspiring work. There are so many surprising moments in which color converges both logically and illogically with form, adding great depth, mystery, and excitement to the work. A creation by Cobelle is always an excellent investment, and is sure to appreciate greatly in the future! Don't miss your chance to own this amazing original work at an even more amazing eBay price!

The image is signed by the artist in the lower right. It measures 20" x 22" and 30" x 32" in a beautiful custom made gallery frame that perfectly complements the painting, custom made specifically for the work and provided free of charge for our eBuyers. Condition Report: the painting is in great shape! The frame is in great condition as well, with moderate wear and tear (Because our frames are always complimentary, we are not responsible for their condition, only for the condition of the artwork).

The artist's work is a solid investment. Here is just one of his auction records (Artprice.com):
