This brilliantly dynamic seaside Harbor scene you are about to bid on is a 1950s oil on canvas by the incredibly talented, uniquely visual, and LISTED American artist, Louis Wolchonok (1898-1973). While the images of this artwork are vibrant and do in fact highlight the artist obvious brilliance to a certain extent, remarkably the photographs pale in comparison to the actual work. This painting, unlike others of its type, is visually engaging not only because of its sheer size but because of the artist's unique style. Bold, colorful, and powerfully energetic, the artist layers paint and form in this absolutely radiant work of art. In a style that draws from the Dutch master Mengels, the artist creates a seascape alive with energy, emotion, and movement.
