ROYAL DOULTON MARILYN AND CHILD EDNA HIBEL PLATE W/BOX   This is a gorgeous collector plate designed by the esteemed artists Edna Hibel, who is one of the most loved living artists in America. This plate is part of the Hibel Mother and Child Series made by Royal Doulton of England. It was issued in 1976 and is the fourth in this series. The title is, “Marilyn & Child ", and it displays a loving scene between a mother and her young child. This design exhibits Hibel's famous trademark technique of using stunning swirling colors and wispy brushstrokes to create her captivating portraits. This limited edition plate measures 8 3/8" across and it's in excellent condition with its original box and certificates, although the box may have some wear from storage. A lovely representation of American Art that is sure to add fine elegance to any room or collection! Comes with the book with information about the artist, the art form, and a note from the artist.
