This is my ring which I have to sell due to the fact I am going through Identity Theft.
The tanzanite stone is rectangular, from block C in tanzania, perfect color and clarity and it is set in 18 KT yellow gold, with 2 carats of white diamonds on the band. One carat to the left of the stone and one carat to the right. The stone's color is exquisite, being dark blue, but not really blackish blue. It radiates red hues when the color changes or if you go outside. The size of the tanzanite is 10mm wide and 12mm from top to bottom. It comes up from the setting 10mm to protect the stone.
There are 16 baguette diamonds and 2 trillion diamonds on either side adding up to 2 total carats of diamonds. The band starts off 12mm wide and then tapers to 5mm at the bottom. The stone is clean, the color is +++ and the setting is worth a lot of money too. I had originally purchased this as an investment but I can't hang on to it now because I want to stop these thieves who stole over $200,000.00 from me. If you are looking for a large, over 4 carat tanzanite, this is the ring forr you. In addition to being set in 18 Karat yellow gold, and having 2 carats of white white diamonds. There is one out of 32 baguettes which is missing, but that is the only one, I didn't notice it until I took the photograph. This ring gets more attention than my engagement ring and tanzanite is on it's way to obscurity. The stones coming out of the ground now are light and have lots of flaws. With an emerald cut stone, especially a colored gemstone, it has to be clean or else it looks cheap or not authentic. The wholesale price on this ring was $10545.00 and that was 2 years ago and when I purchased it, the jeweler told me it would sell retail for $18,000.00.
