THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL, COLLECTIBLE CRYSTAL BOWL BY ROSENTHAL. IT IS 14" FROM SIDE TO SIDE AND 6" HIGH. IT IS RATHER CONTEMPORARY SO MY FEELING IS THAT IT IS MORE OF A HOME DECOR PIECE, THAN A CRYSTAL BOWL TO SERVE FOOD IN.
I AM SURE IF YOU WANTED TO PUT CHIPS OR PRETZELS IN IT, IT WOULD BE FINE, BUT IT IS SO HEAVY, I WOULDN'T WANT TO TAKE IT INTO THE KITCHEN AND HAND WASH IT. ON THE BOTTOM IT SAYS ROSENTHAL, AND THE SECURITY TAG IS PARTIALLY ON THE BOTTOM, I TOOK IT OFF, AT LEAST AS MUCH AS I COULD BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE THE PROPER SOLUTION TO REMOVE IT.
