This is a vintage hat that can be worn today and make any woman look stylish and hip. It was purchased at John Wanamaker in Philadelphia, a store that has been out of business for years. The fabric is hard to describe but it appears to be like layers of fine crinoline which makes it mailable. You can make the top lower, tilt the entire piece move the woven flower which looks like it is woven silk but I can't be sure. In the middle of the flower there are rose color accents which make up another flower.

The size is 14" side to side, 7" high, brim is 3 1/2" around and the top part of the hat is 5" High and 6 1/2" side to side. Inside the hat, the opening which you can lay on your head is 7" from side to side. The inside height of the center is 4 1/2" high. The flower (burgundy) is about 5" from side to side and is removable. It is in excellent condition and hardly looks worn, It was stored in a hat box until I received it.
