You can also adjust the angle for different lighting purposes. 
There is a hole on the flash mount so that you can insert a lighting umbrella. 
The umbrella will align with the flash gun. 

A tripod or light stand with adjustable angle. 
There is a 5/8" socket to mount a flash unit to a light stand. 
There is screw adapter with a 3/8" tripod socket plus a 1/4" adapter at the bottom so that you can mount it on a tripod with 1/4" or 3/8" socket.
