Deep-down bass from a potent 14" woofer
Klipsch
powered subs rate highly among customers for their deep,
powerful bass. Now Klipsch has designed a series of subwoofers to go
along with their performance-oriented Reference Premiere speaker lineup,
and they're some of the best subs Klipsch has ever made. The RP-1400SW
sports a big, beefy 14" Cerametallic™ woofer, a powerful 500-watt Class D amplifier,
and an acoustically optimized front-firing Aerofoil slot port. It's a
combination that lets this sub reach all the way down to 16 Hz and
deliver high-volume bass that stays accurate and musical.
Thoughtful design touches
The
RP-1400SW and other Reference Premiere subs feature hefty,
well-constructed cabinets with rounded corners, built-in
vibration-isolating feet, and a scratch-resistant ebony vinyl finish
that looks like real wood. (This 14" sub weighs in at a serious 83 lbs.,
so you might want to have a friend on hand when you're unboxing and
setting it up.) Add the optional WA-2 wireless kit
for maximum placement flexibility. That allows you to place the sub
anywhere within easy reach of an AC outlet and connect it to your
receiver or amp wirelessly.
