Malvaviscus penduliflorus 'Turk's Cap' Brilliant Red Flowers
	The Malvaviscus penduliflorus, commonly known as Turk's cap, Sleeping hibiscus, or Cardinal's Hat, blooms throughout the year, with vivid bright red flowers showing a brilliant display against rich green leaves.   As a relative of the hibiscus, this plant forms a shrub with large oval leaves about 20cm long. In shady situations will become vinelike, sending out long stems that climb over and up adjacent trees and bushes. In full sun, it forms a more compact bush shape.  It performs well as a border or hedge, is virtually pestfree and easy to care for. It grows quickly, grows well in warmer climates and is frost tender. It is very tolerant of pruning and is great for adding some bulk and rich green background for flowering perennials.     *** Your plant will arrive as a young plant, similar to the one pictured below.
