Bromeliad Aechmea~~ Brilliant Flowers~Young Plant X 2   This bromeliad is a popular plant commonly used for landscaping, indoor or patio plants, or outdoors in a protected and shaded area. It blooms every winter with long lasting tall startling blue / pink florescent flowers. This is a very hardy drought tolerant plant that grows to approximately 50cm high and 40 cm wide.
	This type of bromeliad enjoys a part shade and well-lit area, either in a pot indoors or outdoors. Best if planted under, or in, trees so they can collect nutrients from fallen leaves. Their leaves serve as a water reservoir, collecting moisture and absorbing nutrients. Bromeliads are known for their ability to quickly adapt, are easy to care for and require little care. By keeping the funnel of the rosette filled with water, your plant will keep well hydrated as well as attract frogs, as they love to hide in the water filled funnel. This makes them a great addition to water features and ponds. *** All our plants are grown organically.
