	Golden Torch Heliconia psittacorum 'Golden Torch' ***This item is sold as two hardy bare root rhizomes with new shoots*** The Heliconia psittacorum x spathocircinata 'Golden Torch' has a gold upright spike above dark green leaves. Creates a great tropical look and will bring colour and height to your garden. It will grow to about 2 metres and spread 2 metres. It is best in a semi-shaded area but will tolerate part shade. Heliconia bracts  are produced mostly in warmer months and last many weeks. This plant enjoys a semi shaded area sheltered from the wind. The Golden Torch heliconia makes for a great display. You can use it to fill a corner of your garden.   And have lovely cut flowers spring to autumn.
