Her favorite activity is big game hunting; she has hunted all over North America, been to Russia and Central Asia, and traveled to Africa ten times, taking many fine trophy animals. The reference she gathers on her hunting and bird watching excursions is invaluable in her artwork, and is reflected in her choice of subject matter, concentrating on the infinite variety of species, both locally and around the world.
She paints both birds and mammals, concentrating on depicting each animal in it's native habitat, usually in low afternoon light, and often in motion. Her specialty is rare and seldom-depicted big game species from Asia and Africa.
Cynthie displays her art at several prestigious national art shows, including the Safari Club International, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Convention, the Foundation for North American Wild Sheep, and the Mule Deer Foundation Convention. She donates regularly to many conservation and hunting groups nationwide, and has over 100 of her images in print.
