This is just a wonderful example of American Brilliant Period glass. I don't know the name of the pattern (there are so many) but this divided relish dish has the fans, hobstars, and cross cut diamonds of the Corning, Hoare, Elmira fashion. Although there are no markings on this dish, I know the piece comes from New York, so I tend to believe one of the cutting houses there is the designer. It is about 7 1/2" long and 5" wide and about 1 3/4" high. It is in fabulous condition. There is a small nick on the bottom where it rests on the table only noticeable if you turn it upside down and feel for it. Notice in the pictures that the center divider is at an unusual angle. This is a very nice piece and I believe it will delight any collector!
