ELEGANT AMERICAN BRILLIANT PERIOD HAND CUT CRYSTAL VASE In the late 1800s, fine glass became a symbol of elegance and wealth. American craftsmen surpassed all others worldwide in their cut glass talents and created many works of art that have maintained their unsurpassed quality and beauty to this day.  For your inspection here currently is a Beautiful Vase from the American Brilliant Period. This stunning vase is deeply cut with so much intricacy. This marvelous example of turn-of the-century glass is unmatched in clarity and brilliance and although I can not find any markings it was obviously made by a top cutting house. Since I can personally trace over 60 of its years to a family home in Watertown, NY. it very possibly is from one of the famous houses in Corning, NY. and I believe this is the noted hobstar pattern. I am no expert but this piece is in very nice condition with no cracks, or repairs, there are 3 small chips to the back of the saw tooth top rim and either a scratch or straw mark on the inside. These do not damage the integrity of the piece (see pictures). It measures approximately 6" wide by 4" high. Overall a rare and impressive example of some of the finest cutting ever done!    Every attempt is made to carefully package your purchase and I will take every precaution I can for your package's safe shipment.
