You are looking at a vintage glass compote from the 1950's Indiana Glass Co. era. It is a lovely dark amber with gold flashing around the top 1". It is in a diamond point pattern and in excellent vintage condition. The gold shows a bit of color loss on close inspection but there are no chips or cracks that I can see. It is about 7 1/2" overall and about 6 1/4" diameter while the bowl is 2 1/2" deep.(What you are seeing in the gold flashing is a reflection of me taking the picture, not a defect) Be sure to check out all of my vintage glass.
