FENTON COMMEMORATIVE MOTHERS DAY 1972 POWDER BLUE PLATE
This is the Fenton, Commemorative, Glass, Mother's Day 1972, Powder Blue, Plate It is in excellent condition. I can find no nicks, chips, or cracks in it. This is a highly collectible item. It is in a beautiful robin's egg blue with lighter highlighting. It is about 7 3/4" diameter. The front of the plate reads: "Mother's Day 1972" The back of the plate reads: "Fenton" "Commemorating Mother's Day with a reproduction of "Madonna of the Goldfinch" painted in about 1760 by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, the last great master of the Venetian school of painting." I am a widowed, retired, "60's hippie gal" with a collection of Mom's and Grandma's things and a propensity for collecting. I have a large number of items that I have collected, inherited, and found at estate sales, auctions, and garage sales over the years.
