For your woodworking projects, one Each of Gabon Ebony and dark Cocobolo 5"x1.5"x1"(127x38x25mm) Knife Handles Blocks. Gabon Ebony Hardwood aka diospyros crassiflora originates from W. Africa, primarily from Gabon, Cameroon, Congo, and Nigeria etc. The Cocobolo rosewood aka Dalbergia retusa is known to originate from S. America. Both the valuable timbers are highly sought after for quality products including Knifemaking, guitar building, walking sticks making,  pepper mills, musical instruments, goose and duck calls, tool handles, gun grips, pool cues, cabinetry, chess parts, turnery and carving. Both of the hardwoods are air dried to the European standards and end waxed.

You will receive similar one piece each of Cocobolo and Gabon Ebony as shown in the pictures. Please make note that all Ebony timber, while overall black is not 100% jet black. It will have other color inclusions on it. Sold as is.
