For your custom woodworking projects such as gun handles, forend tips, peppermills, pool cues, tool handles, turkey calls etc, one beautiful and stripy exotic India Laurel wood blank measured at 1,1/2”x1,1/2”x24”. This specie is also known as Terminalia elliptica (syn. T. tomentosa). Indian Laurel varies from light brown to dark brown with darker, nearly black streaks. Sapwood is a pale pinkish color, clearly demarcated from the heartwood. Laurel’s grain is generally straight or slightly interlocked or irregular with a medium to coarse uniform texture, and low natural luster. It is generally easy to work. It turns and finishes well.

The condition of the blank is new, air dried and fully waxed. Various pictures shown are a fair representation of Laurel lumber. You will receive one similar blank of 1.5”x1.5”x24” (38x38x609mm) of Laurel hardwood.
