This sale is for a LIMITED EDITION PORCELAIN COLLECTOR PLATE, THE 6th ISSUE IN A SERIES OF "NOEL VITRAIL" PLATES BY ARTIST "ANDRE RESTIEAU".  Here are the details: Plate #AG788 "JOYEUSE NOUVELLE" (Luke 2:10,11) Made by D'Arceau-Limoges Issued in 1980 and Premier First Edition Certificate of Authenicity included Ships in original foam box 8 1/4" diameter The base material for this plate is the purest and most costly kaolin of St. Yrieix. Each of the ten colors is formulated with the same basic oxides as those used in the Middle Ages to stain cathedral glass The master mold was destroyed in December 1980.
