Rare 1800's Ornate Bronze Lamp With Bacchanalian Theme

This is a very rare, patinated bronze lamp featuring a foliate-cast baluster stem above a cylindrical socle cast. There are multiple details in the "Bacchanalian putti" story which takes place on this lamp, it is truly incredible to just look at the work involved in this piece. The the foot is cast with a hunting scene showing dogs chasing other animals amidst lush foliage all set on a verde (green) antico marble foot. There are serpents, lions, goats and a variety of other subjects on this lamp, totally incredible and rare is a piece like this. This lamp was perhaps converted to electric at some point in its life and shows a more modern lamp harp/finial combination.  The lamp weighs about 19 pounds and is 20" tall (from base to the top of the sculpted bronze lamp proper, not including the harp/electrical bulb apparatus) and measures about 8 inches at the base diameter.  The experts who have evaluated it believe it was made in the mid 19th century and valued it at between $1,000-$1,500.  The bold decoration and rather heavy baluster form suggests something made after the 1830's with the design derived from early 19th century French models.
