Vintage Pair of Green Slag Ornate Lamps

This is a truly unique and beautiful pair of lamps with three-phase wiring which allows the colors of the slag glass to show off brilliantly. The first photo shows the lamps fully lit, top to bottom. The second photo is with just the base lit up, the third photo shows the lamps with just the top lit up.  These are very heavy lamps with 6-panel, green slag glass shades that attach with 3 metal tabs per panel. The lamps are complete with original grape-like finials.  There are markings on the bottom trim of the shades that say "P" "H", you can see them in the close up photo. Possibly Handel? The markings on the bottom state "EF & EF Industries" with 1972 and some other numbers I can't make out. Height to the bottom of the lamp shade is 12". Wiring appears new and switches work perfectly.  Full height is about 23" and width at widest point about 12" (see ruler photo). My research showed me that EF & EF Industries was a decorative lamp company in Chicago during the 1970's who made very beautiful and ornate glass lamps following the maximalism and neoclassicism trend of the time. The metal the lamps are made of are "soft" and most likely spelter, a mix of metals. A lamp restorer commented that many times in her work she saw these where the base was from one time period and the rest of the lamps from another. I am not an expert, just letting potential buyers know what I found out. Above all, these are treasured lamps!

These lamps are very heavy and final shipping price to the desired destination will be fully calculated upon sale.
