These two volumes cosmetically match and could easily be
mistaken for or perhaps are part of an identical larger set.

The thicker volume is titled "Poems, by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow"
in two volumes.  This being Vol. (2). noted on title page and again
on spine in roman numerals.
The thinner volume is titled "Song of Hiawatha"  by Henry Wadsworth
Longfellow.  The volume is not noted on title page but is noted on
spine as (IV) or volume 4.

Books are in very good condition with gracefully aged leather board
corners, end boards and spines.   Edge of leather spine has split
a little on thicker volume but bindings are tight and solid as new
on both volumes.  Nice clean sharp pages, solid square books.
All pages firmly attached,  no writing or scribbling, no rips or tears,
no folds or creases.  Beautiful books deserving of prime shelf space.
