Description:

This is a GORGEOUS cane/walking stick. The "diamonds" are found naturally in this type of willow-hence the name Diamond Willow. However, you seldom see a carving with the "diamonds" standing out such as this. So this is kind of a rare thing to see.

There is a note taped on the piece. This note is becoming quite brittle, so I did retape one edge of it. It reads: "This cane was given to D.D. Rolfe in 1901 by Mark Devine. It was given to Lou Latterell by Emmett Rolfe" The cane measure about 35 1/2".

I bought this piece at an antique store in central MN about 20 yrs. ago. Now my collection of canes and walking sticks must go.
