The Adventure of Link bears little resemblance to the first game or other gamesin the series for that matter. the Adventure of Link features side-scrolling areas within a larger world map rather than the top down view of the previous title. It is more an action-RPG like Faxanadu (within is also on the NES). The game uses a strategic combat system, EXP pointd system, magic and interaction with non-player characters.
