Understanding the Core Deposit

In a perfect world, you could walk into the shop and drop off your part and come pick it up the next day.  Unfortanately, in eCommerce it isn't quite that easy.  As a service to our customers we stock cores to facilitate the ease of transaction.  You have the option of sending in your parts to get refinished and pay no core deposit, but the core exchange method allows you to get your part faster without any downtime with your vehicle.  So at the end of the auction, we require a deposit on the core we are sending out, which is refunded upon receiving your good equivalent core.  We will provide a core return form with your part with directions with how and where to send your core.  Upon receiving and testing the core, refunds will be made from the original paypal payment.  We typically go through cores once a week.  So expect a few days before you receive your core deposit.  All cores must be received no later than 60 days from the time of purchase.
