Florida Capitol Building 1990 Sterling Christmas Ornament.  The seat of Florida's state government is located in a section of Tallahassee known as Capitol Center, the focal point which is the Capitol Building itself.  The cornerstone of the original building was laid in 1826 but the construction was not completed until Florida's admission into the Union in 1845.  A modern skyscraper has been added to the old Capitol and forms a backdrop for the classic Greek of the original building which, in other regards, has changed little since its construction.

This sterling silver collectible was produced by the artisans at Hand & Hammer Silversmiths exclusively for Jeff Stewart Antiques and Collectibles.  The size is approximately 2-3/4" x 1-1/4". It has a place for a ribbon or hook for hanging on your tree or wearing it as a piece of jewelry on a chain or ribbon.   This ornament comes with original box and papers.
