The Reed and Barton Cross Series started in 1971. The back is flat and suitable to wear.  We have others in this series available.

The 1975 Cross is a stylized reproduction of the historic Patone Patee cross that adorned the helmets and escutcheons of Norman Knights during the crusades, in the 11th & 12th centuries.  In medieval French heraldry, the Patonce Patee Cross symbolized chivalric honor, valor, sacrifice, and the flowering of graces in the christain warrior.
