This is a 3.9" almost 4" Plascenticerus Ammonite found in the Pierre Shale Formation in South Dakota.  This piece has been professionally prepared and polished.  It has great sutures as you can see.  It is very gemmy and has great calcite mineralization.  It is in perfect condition and has all the inner whirl.  Thanks for looking!
