This is a 2.5" Chambered Nautilus Nautiloid Cretaceous Fossil found in the Fox Hills Formation in South Dakota.  This specimen is from the upper cretaceous era.  These are very hard to find.  This is an average size specimen.  It has a very nice shell.  This one is excellent and almost complete.  It sits really nice in the matrix.  Thanks for looking and Happy Bidding!
